We work with you on your terms, meaning you can select just our core services for a ‘one-off’ advice, or you can add our on-going services to ensure the advice you receive remains suitable for your continuing needs and changing circumstances.
Through our ongoing advice service, we will manage your complete financial health on a long-term basis, providing ongoing monitoring and regular reviews of your investment and objectives to make certain your money is always in the best place for you.


We believe in an honest and transparent relationship with our clients and over the years we have developed business associations with acknowledged experts in various specialised fields. We believe we can add value with our offering and, most importantly of all, you will always know exactly what you are paying for our service as we place great importance on transparency of fees. We always offer a fee-free consultation, either in person or by telephone at your convenience. Our fees for advice will be discussed at the initial meeting and agreed with you before any costs are incurred.

How We Do It – the 6-step process

Our aim is to help you look after your long-term financial health on an ongoing basis, providing you with peace of mind for the future. We take a scientific approach to Financial Planning and our six-step process covers comprehensive research, proposal of solution and ongoing management of your portfolio.

Initial Meeting

This is our opportunity to find out about you and for you to find out more about us. We will talk about your aspirations, goals and resources as well as the services that we offer. The aim is to decide whether we can help you add value to your financial affairs. We offer this initial consultation free-of-charge.

Fact Finding

If you decide to engage the services of HCL Bank House, the next step will be a fact-finding meeting in which we will gather comprehensive information about you, your finances and lifestyle as well as crucially your short and long-term financial objectives.

Preparation

Based on this information, we will develop an initial financial strategy aimed at achieving your stated goals. This will include in-depth analysis of your current financial position, including a critique of your existing investment pensions and other plans, where appropriate, and a recommendation tailored to you.

Presentation

Once we have prepared your initial financial strategy, we will arrange a meeting to present it to you, answering any queries you may have. Once we have agreed any refinement, we will implement the plan on your behalf.

Implementation

Once agreed and finalised, your personal financial strategy will be implemented to the agreed timetable.

Ongoing Review

Possibly the most important part of our Financial Planning Service is our ongoing review process. Our service does not just end after you have received initial advice; we work with you over the long term to ensure that your money continues to work hard for you, adapting your financial plan to your changing circumstances.

It is important to us that you fully understand our process, so please do ask us for more detail if anything is unclear to you. We can also use cash flow modelling, where relevant, to help plan out different scenarios.
